Tremble, abject throng!

I felt like an abject failure.

And do not exchange the covenant of Allah to procure an abject price that which is with Allah is better for you, if you know.

Your Lord has said 'Call on Me and I will answer you. Those who are too proud to worship Me shall enter Gehenna utterly abject'

They say When we return to Madinah, the honourable ones will drive out from it those that are abject. In truth, all honour belongs to Allah, and to His Messenger, and to the believers. But the hypocrites do not know.

And accept faith in what I have sent down (the Qur an), which confirms what is with you (the Torah Bible), and do not be the first to disbelieve in it and do not exchange My verses for an abject and fear Me alone.

The chieftains of his folk, who disbelieved, said We see thee but a mortal like us, and we see not that any follow thee save the most abject among us, without reflection. We behold in you no merit above us nay, we deem you liars.

You should see them brought before the Fire, abject in disgrace, looking stealthily. And those who believe will say They who forfeit their souls and families on the Day of Resurrection will really be losers. Is it not that sinners will suffer a lasting torment?

And they'll stand before God and family and some guy her dad once did business with, and they'll vow that nothing, not abject poverty, not life threatening illness, not complete and utter misery will ever put the tiniest damper on their eternal love and devotion.

And thou shalt see them, as they are exposed to it, abject in humbleness, looking with furtive glance and the believers shall say, 'Surely the losers are they who lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection surely the evildoers are in lasting chastisement.

You will see them exposed to the Fire, abject in humiliation, glancing furtively at it, while those who believed will say, The losers are those ones who have forfeited their souls and their people on the Day of Resurrection. Truly, the wrongdoers will remain in everlasting torment

Those who hide the Book sent down by Allah and exchange it for an abject price they only fill their bellies with fire and Allah will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection nor will He purify them and for them is a painful punishment.

Those who accept abject prices in exchange of Allah s covenant and their oaths, do not have a portion in the Hereafter Allah will neither speak to them nor look towards them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them and for them is a painful punishment.

And remember when Allah took a covenant from the People given the Book(s) that, You shall definitely preach it to the people and not hide it so they flung it behind their backs and gained an abject price for it so what a wretched bargain it is!

Therefore woe is to those who write the Book with their hands and they then claim, This is from Allah in order to gain an abject (worldly) price for it therefore woe to them for what their hands have written, and woe to them for what they earn with it.

How abject is the price for which they exchange their lives that they should disbelieve in what Allah has sent down, jealous that Allah should reveal of His grace to whomever He wills of His bondmen! So they deserved wrath upon wrath and for the disbelievers is a disgraceful punishment.

You shall see them, as they are brought face to face with the chastisement, in a state of abject humiliation, looking with a furtive glance. But the believers will say Surely the true losers are they who lose themselves and their kindred on the Day of Resurrection. Lo, the wrong doers will be in an enduring torment.
