I heard the word carcinoma.

And these bronchial arteries bring then, really wonderful oxygenated blood, right. These are the bronchial arteries.

And these are called the bronchial arteries.

You know, this is pair of lungs and the bronchial tree.

I had hoped to die of a lung disease or at least a chronic bronchial emphysema.

You've got pulmonary arteries carrying blood, you've got bronchial arteries carrying blood and that blood mixes.

So even though you have the bronchial arteries bringing blood in, that would be right here, you know the bronchial arteries bringing blood in, a lot of that blood ends up going into that pulmonary circulation.

And you might say, well that wasn't so difficult. I'll say bronchial vessels, because there are also some veins coming off.

Angle of the trajectory indicates the bullet traveled through the first intercostal space avoiding the heart and bronchial branch of the lungs.

It enters our body through the nose and mouth, moves down into the pharynx, trachea and bronchial tubes, and ultimately reaches the alveoli air sacs in the lungs.

And so, please consider this a work in progress, but I'd like to tell you today a story about a very rare cancer called midline carcinoma, about the undruggable protein target that causes this cancer, called BRD4, and about a molecule developed at my lab at Dana Farber Cancer Institute, called JQ1, which we affectionately named for Jun Qi, the chemist that made this molecule.
