And whoever repents and acts righteously indeed turns to Allah with due penitence).

We bestowed Solomon on David who was an excellent devotee, for he turned to God in penitence.

Bear with patience what they say, and remember Our votary David, man of strength. He surely turned to Us in penitence.

Forgiver of sins, Accepter of penitence, Terrible in retribution, the Bountiful there is no god but He, and unto Him is the homecoming.

He it is who sheweth you His signs and sendeth down for you from the heaven provision. And none receiveth admonition save him who turneth in penitence.

And those who avoid the devils lest they should worship them and turn Unto Allah in penitence, for them are glad tidings. Wherefore give thou glad tidings Unto My bondmen,

When distress befalls people, they supplicate their Lord, turning to Him in penitence. Then, when He lets them taste His mercy, behold, a part of them ascribe partners to their Lord,

Your Lord knoweth best what is in your hearts If ye do deeds of righteousness, verily He is Most Forgiving to those who turn to Him again and again (in true penitence).

And those who disbelieve say wherefore is not a sign sent down unto him from his Lord! Say thou verily Allah sendeth astray whomsoever He will and guideth unto Himself whosoever turnoth in penitence

The Unbelievers say Why is not a sign sent down to him from his Lord? Say Truly Allah leaveth, to stray, whom He will But He guideth to Himself those who turn to Him in penitence,

If both of you two (women) turn to God in penitence (it would be better). Your hearts have been impaired and if you assist one another against him, then surely his helper is God, and Gabriel and the righteous believers, and, besides them, the angels are his helpers.

They ask you about menstruation. Say, It is an impurity, so keep away from women during it and do not approach them until they are cleansed when they are cleansed you may approach them as God has ordained. God loves those who turn to Him in penitence and He loves those who keep themselves clean.

Thus We have sent thee unto a community before whom other communities have passed away, in order that thou mayest recite unto them that which We have Revealed unto thee yet they disbelieve in the Compassionate. Say thou He is my Lord, there is no god but he on Him I rely, and unto Him is my return in penitence.

Da ud said assuredly he hath wronged thee in demanding thine ewe in addition to his ewes, and verily many of the partners oppress each other save such as believe and work righteous works, and few are they. And Da ud imagined that We had tried him so he asked forgiveness of his Lord, and he fell down bowing and turned in penitence.

When man suffers some affliction, he prays to his Lord and turns to Him in penitence, but once he has been granted a favour from God, he forgets the One he had been praying to and sets up rivals to God, to make others stray from His path. Say, Enjoy your unbelief for a little while you will be one of the inmates of the Fire.

And when some hurt toucheth man, he calleth upon his Lord, turning Unto Him in penitence then when He bestoweth upon him a favour from Himself, he forgetteth that for which he called on Him afore, and setteth up peers Unto Allah that He may lead astray others from His way Say thou enjoy thou life in thy infidelity for a while, verily thou art of the fellows of the Fire.
