And fight with them until there is no persecution, and religion should be only for Allah, but if they desist, then there should be no hostility except against the oppressors.

And (as for) those who disbelieve, some of them are the guardians of others if you will not do it, there will be in the land persecution and great mischief.

And recall that We delivered you from the people of Pharaoh. They inflicted on you terrible persecution, killing your sons and sparing your women. Therein was a tremendous trial from your Lord.

And why should we not trust in God, when He has guided us in our ways? We will persevere in the face of your persecution. And upon God the reliant should rely.

Other messengers before you were rejected, but they endured rejection and persecution until Our help came to them. There can be no change to God s words. News of the Messengers has already reached you.

No one believed in Moses except some young people of his own tribe who were at the same time very afraid of the persecution of the Pharaoh and his people. The Pharaoh was certainly a tyrant and a transgressor.

And what reason have we that we should not rely on Allah? And He has indeed guided us in our ways and certainly we would bear with patience your persecution of us and on Allah should the reliant rely.

Tell those who disbelieve that if they cease (from persecution of believers) that which is past will be forgiven them but if they return (thereto) then the example of the men of old hath already gone (before them, for a warning).

Other messengers have been denied before you, and they bore their rejection and persecution steadfastly, until Our help came to them. There is no one who can change the words of God. You have already received some account of those messengers.

As for those who, after persecution, migrated from their homes for the cause of God, We will provide them with a goodly abode in this life but truly the reward of the Hereafter will be greater, if they only knew it.

Fight against them wherever they confront you in combat and drive them out from where they drove you out. Though killing is bad. persecution is worse than killing Do not fight against them near the Masjid Haram unless they attack you there.

As for those who have forsaken their homes for the sake of Allah after enduring persecution, We shall certainly grant them a good abode in this world and surely the reward of the Hereafter is much greater. If they could but know (what an excellent end awaits)
