Hexacopters and octocopters, with six and eight propellers, can provide redundancy, but quadrocopters are much more popular because they have the minimum number of fixed motor propeller pairs four.

The fuel cell looked great one tenth as many moving parts and a fuel cell propulsion system as an internal combustion engine and it emits just water.
