So the market cap, or what the market perceives the value of this equity is, the market capitalization, is these two numbers.

But in this case our market cap is below our book value.

Where at first we had a small cap of higher rainfall, that cap is now widening and getting higher.

But when the market value, or the market cap, is below the book equity, that's the market just saying, hey we're calling your bluff.

So you take 21.50 times 10,000 shares gives us a market cap of 215,000

And this calculation, this multiplication of market price per share times the number of shares this is called the market cap

Now what does that result in their valuation, or in terms of their market cap?

So the market cap, you take 12 per share, multiply it by 500 million shares.

Well if we say 3 times 0.5 billion, that means that the market says that this company's market cap is 1.5 billion.

So I said if the value the market is placing on a share is 12.00 per share, that's a 6 billion market cap.

Another way to think about it is, if the market is paying 12 million per share, what's the market cap of the company?

But the market cap is saying what the equity of the company is worth in the market's mind.

So they're saying essentially that the market cap, and that's equivalent to the market value of the equity, or what the market thinks the equity is worth, that's 1 times 500 million shares.

And the market cap of the company is really what's the market's guess of what the shareholders' equity is?

We do need the market incentives CO2 tax, cap and trade something that gets that price signal out there.

On the competitiveness front, we all know that Toyota has more market cap than the big three put together.
