And I shall turn away from you and from those whom you invoke besides Allah. And I shall call on my Lord and I hope that I shall not be unblest in my invocation to my Lord.

And I will withdraw from you, and from what you pray to instead of God. And I will pray to my Lord, and I hope I will not be disappointed in my prayer to my Lord.

I shall withdraw from you and all that you call upon beside Allah. I shall only call upon my Lord. I trust the prayer to my Lord will not go unanswered.

I shall stay away from you and what you worship instead of God. I worship my Lord and hope that my prayers will not be ignored.

And I will withdraw from you and what you call on besides Allah, and I will call upon my Lord may be I shall not remain unblessed in calling upon my Lord.

I will separate myself from you and from whatever you call upon besides God, and I will pray only to my Lord. It may well be that, in calling on my Lord, I will not be disappointed.

And I will turn away from you (all) and from those whom ye invoke besides Allah I will call on my Lord perhaps, by my prayer to my Lord, I shall be not unblest.

And man supplicates for evil as he supplicates for good, and man is ever hasty.

People pray as earnestly to gain evil as one should to gain virtue. But people are hasty.

And man prays for evil as he ought to pray for good, and man is ever hasty.

Yet man asks for evil as eagerly as he should ask for good. Truly, man is indeed hasty.
