First of all, viruses are pretty complex, but they're also evolving very fast.

Computers have made rapid progress.

You're looking at the outside shell of the virus, and the yellow color here are those parts of the virus that are evolving very, very fast, and the blue parts are not evolving very fast.

The world is changing more and more quickly.

That stuff in our blood is supposed to jumpstart evolution.

The coastal ecosystem of British Columbia is rapidly declining.

They can't do very much.

But it'll pass for everybody.

Now, over here there's great diversity that's where things are evolving fast.

We have an enormous disparity in the world.

Secondly, the new machine age is exponential.

Eating habits in China have been rapidly becoming Americanized in recent years.

Biotech is probably the most powerful and the fastest growing technology sector.

Or, more importantly, HlV, where the virus evolves so quickly the vaccines that are made today can't keep up with those evolutionary changes.

The sweep of the times is changing rapidly.

Globalization is getting more complex.

Today the world of globalization is on speed.

This is a time of need.

Basically, it took a billion years to have life on Earth.

Accelerated Darwinism.

Rapid cell deterioration.

Comparative studies are now making rapid progress.

We haven't yet understood that we're going at a much faster pace than the planet can sustain.

And just as the biosphere has been severely eroded, so too is the ethnosphere

The temperature's dropping too rapidly.

American businesses fail faster than Americans, and therefore American businesses are evolving faster than Americans.

In fact, in the last few years, there's been an explosion in research on happiness.

The movement is rapidly gaining ground.

I end up looking at the mammal radiation, and it seems as though everything is quick time, just like technology, advancing by an order of magnitude.

But you see a very clear trend.

The country was industrialized very quickly.
