And he had a most alluring dream.

And these women sing an enchanting song, a song so alluring that all sailors who hear it crash into the rocks and die.

By God, We sent messengers to communities before you, but Satan made their deeds appear alluring to them. He is their master today, and they will have a painful punishment.

The life of this world is alluring to those who reject faith, and they scoff at those who believe. But the righteous will be above them on the Day of Resurrection for Allah bestows His abundance without measure on whom He will.

(Remember also) the 'Ad and the Thamud (people) clearly will appear to you from (the traces) of their buildings (their fate) the Evil One made their deeds alluring to them, and kept them back from the Path, though they were gifted with intelligence and skill.

And We have destined for them intimate companions (of like nature), who made alluring to them what was before them and behind them and the sentence among the previous generations of Jinns and men, who have passed away, is proved against them for they are utterly lost.

Even so, in the eyes of most of the pagans, their partners made alluring the slaughter of their children, in order to lead them to their own destruction, and cause confusion in their religion. If Allah had willed, they would not have done so But leave alone them and their inventions.

Revile not ye those whom they call upon besides Allah, lest they out of spite revile Allah in their ignorance. Thus have We made alluring to each people its own doings. In the end will they return to their Lord, and We shall then tell them the truth of all that they did.

Is he whose evil deeds are made alluring to him so that he looks upon them as good, equal to the man who is rightly guided ? God leaves to stray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. Do not destroy yourself with grief for them. God has full knowledge of all their actions.

Is he, then, to whom the evil of his conduct is made alluring, so that he looks upon it as good, (equal to one who is rightly guided)? For Allah leaves to stray whom He wills, and guides whom He wills. So let not thy soul go out in (vainly) sighing after them for Allah knows well all that they do!

The ways and means of (reaching) the heavens, and that I may mount up to the god of Moses But as far as I am concerned, I think (Moses) is a liar! Thus was made alluring, in Pharaoh's eyes, the evil of his deeds, and he was hindered from the Path and the plot of Pharaoh led to nothing but perdition (for him).

This worldly life has been made very charming and alluring for those who have adopted the way of disbelief. So they mock at those who have adopted the way of belief, but (they forget that) the pious people will rank above them on the Day of Resurrection. As to the wordly provisions, Allah has full authority and power to bestow these without measure on anyone He wills.
