We could make a very long list, but obviously Nelson Mandela, emerging from 17 years of hard physical labor, 23 years of imprisonment, with this amazing ability to forgive, so that he could lead his nation out the evil regime of apartheid without a bloodbath.

In the last 50 60 years we have seen fascism, anti Semitism, racism, apartheid, discrimination on the basis of sex and gender and sexuality all these have come under pressure because of the campaigns that have been run by people to change the world.

Nobody would have said 50 years ago that apartheid would have gone in 1990, or that the Berlin wall would have fallen at the turn of the '80s and '90s, or that polio could be eradicated, or perhaps 60 years ago, nobody would have said a man could gone to the Moon.
