Part 2 Night danger and deliverance

How many a nation did We destroy before them! (When they approached their doom) they cried out (for deliverance), but the time for deliverance was already past.

And nothing devolves on us but a clear deliverance (of the message).

Well, I need to remind you of a little movie called Deliverance.

For sinful as he is, Jonah does not weep and wail for direct deliverance.

But if they turn back, then on you devolves only the clear deliverance (of the message).

so give true deliverance between me and them, and deliver me and the believers that are with me.

O my people! Think, what makes me invite you to deliverance, while you invite me toward the Fire?

And, O my people! what aileth me that call you Unto deliverance, while ye call me Unto the Fire!

And, O my people! What aileth me that I call you unto deliverance when ye call me unto the Fire?

If you belie me, other nations before you also belied. It is only for a Messenger to deliver the clear deliverance.

Say 'Our Lord will bring us together, then make deliverance between us by the truth. He is the Deliverer, the All knowing.'

And the sinners will see the Fire, and will realize that they will tumble into it. They will find no deliverance from it.

And how pleasing to God was this conduct in Jonah, is shown in the eventual deliverance of him from the sea and the whale.

He leaves all his deliverance to God, contenting himself with this, that spite of all his pains and pangs, he will still look towards His holy temple.

And of the two (prisoners) he who had found deliverance and remembered after a long time said I will inform you of its interpretation, so let me go

excepting a Deliverance from God and His Messages. And whoso rebels against God and His messenger, for him there awaits the Fire of Gehenna therein they shall dwell forever.'

except a deliverance from Allah and His Messages. He who disobeys Allah and His Messenger, for him is the Fire of Gehenna, which he will be in for ever.

And obey Allah and obey the apostle and be cautious but if you turn back, then know that only a clear deliverance of the message is (incumbent) on Our apostle.

As sinful men, it is a lesson to us all, because it is a story of the sin, hard heartedness, suddenly awakened fears, the swift punishment, repentance, prayers, and finally the deliverance and joy of Jonah.

The idolaters say 'Had Allah willed, neither we nor our fathers would have worshipped anything other than Him, nor would we have forbidden anything without Him', as such did those before them. Yet what should Messengers do but give a clear deliverance?

Indeed We have sent down the Book to you with the truth for the deliverance of mankind. So whoever is guided is guided for his own sake, and whoever goes astray, goes astray to his own detriment, and it is not your duty to watch over them.

So when they are about to reach their appointed term, hold them back with kindness or separate them with kindness, and make two just men among you as witnesses, and establish the testimony for Allah with this is advised whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and whoever fears Allah Allah will create for him a way of deliverance.
