Lesser Poland

Beautiful? Maybe lesser.

A warning to mortals,

as a warner to mortals.

A warning to the mortals.

Mortals are always whispering of the prophecy.

We mortals are but shadows and dust.

May all lesser cretins bow before me.

and a lesser number from the later generations.

Verily thou art mortal, and verily they are mortals.

It's all lesser evil terrain in these broken places.

I expect excuses like that from lesser men than you.

What are we, poor mortals, against the cruel hand of fate.

It has two atmospheres a lesser, outer gaseous atmosphere, a lighter one.

Ever the Ring will seek to corrupt the hearts of lesser Men.

And unfortunately, for mortals like you and me, we probably can't understand it very well.

My dear lady, in my experience, Providence is the work of punishment to us mortals.

'What' they said, 'are we to believe in two mortals like us, whose nation are our worshipers'

They said Shall we put faith in two mortals like ourselves when their people are slaves to us?

They said Ye are but mortals like unto us. The Beneficent hath naught revealed. Ye do but lie!

We will make them taste the lesser torment, prior to the greater torment, so that they may return.

And in that process that's going to morph from being just for diseases, to being for lesser vulnerabilities,

And of His signs is that He created you of dust then lo, you are mortals, all scattered abroad.

And they said Shall we put faith in two mortals like ourselves, and whose folk are servile unto us?

They said, Should we believe in two mere mortals who are like ourselves and whose people are our slaves?

And one of His signs is that He created you from dust, then lo! you are mortals (who) scatter.

They said You are naught but mortals like ourselves, nor has the Beneficent Allah revealed anything you only lie.

He had a lesser charge of forgery, got a year sentence and died a hero to the Dutch people.

The people said, You are mere mortals like us and the Beneficent God has sent nothing. You are only liars.

And of the devils were some that dived for him, and performed other, lesser tasks. But We kept them restrained.

CAPULET No, not a whit what! I have watch'd ere now All night for lesser cause, and ne'er been sick.

They said, You are nothing but mortals like us the Most Gracious has not sent down anything you are nothing but liars.

They said, 'You are naught but mortals like us the All merciful has not sent down anything. You are speaking only lies.'

I'm not suggesting that obesity is benign, but what I am suggesting is it may be the lesser of two metabolic evils.

This test should be, correlated to a lesser degree with tests of spacial reasoning than it is, with a test of reading comprehension.

Notoriously they start preparing for their careers at school, often choosing the lesser evil, out of a fear of ending up with nothing.

If you avoid violating that which has been prohibited, your (lesser) sins will be forgiven and you will be admitted into an exalted dwelling.

And most surely We will make them taste a lesser punishment before the greater punishment, so that perhaps they may return to Us in repentance.
