Lust for Gold

The lust denies the need.

lust, fear and social duty interesting.

Gluttony Greed Sloth Envy Wrath Pride Lust

that male lust is not to be trusted.

Only you and he lust after the gold.

Gluttony... greed... sloth, wrath... pride, lust... and envy.

There's lust, which is just wanting to have sex.

lust, romantic love and deep attachment to a partner.

Love is merely a lyrical way of referring to lust.

Now, this was an object of much envy and lust.

You lust after men rather than women! You transgress all bounds!

You lust after men rather than women. You are an excessive people.

Do you lust after men instead of women? You are truly ignorant people.

It is a struggle within, a struggle against vice, sin, temptation, lust, greed.

These three brain systems lust, romantic love and attachment don't always go together.

So they can express everything from admiration and lust to anxiety and angst.

You lust after men in place of women. You are indeed a stolid people.

And as for him who dreaded standing before his Lord, and restrained his soul from lust,

Lo! ye come with lust unto men instead of women. Nay, but ye are wanton folk.

Most surely you come to males in lust besides females nay you are an extravagant people.

But these three brain systems lust, romantic love and attachment, aren't always connected to each other.

Must ye needs lust after men instead of women? Nay, but ye are folk who act senselessly.

But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust,

But like you, the Krell forgot one deadly danger... . ..their own subconscious hate and lust for destruction.

Hast thou seen him who chooseth for his god his own lust? Wouldst thou then be guardian over him?

Have you considered him who takes his own lust for his god? Can you stand a surety for him?

In preference to women you satisfy your lust with men. Indeed you are a people who are guilty of excess.

Let him who does not believe in it and follows his lust not turn your thought away from it, lest you are ruined.

Have you ever considered the case of the person who has made his lust his god? Can you take the responsibility of guiding such a one aright?

It will make a difference if you were to discover that the person you're looking at with lust is actually a disguised version of your son or daughter, your mother or father.

Wives of the Prophet, you are not like other women. If you have fear of God, do not be tender in your speech lest people whose hearts are sick may lust after you.

And if they answer thee not, then know that what they follow is their lusts. And who goeth farther astray than he who followeth his lust without guidance from Allah. Lo! Allah guideth not wrongdoing folk.

What! Do you go to men (to satisfy your lust), engage in highway robbery, and commit evil deeds in your gatherings? Then they had no answer to offer other than to say Bring Allah's chastisement upon us if you are truthful.

Then, if they cannot give you an answer, know that they are only following their lusts. And who can be farther astray than he who follows his lust without any guidance from God? And certainly God does not guide an unjust people.

Enamoured are the people of the lust of (earthly) pleasures, of women and of children and hoarded heaps of gold and silver, well bred horses, and tilled land and cattle, all (vain) goods and chattels of the life of this world, while the best of abodes is with God.

Have you seen him who takes his own lust (vain desires) as his ilah (god), and Allah knowing (him as such), left him astray, and sealed his hearing and his heart, and put a cover on his sight. Who then will guide him after Allah? Will you not then remember?

Persevere with those who call on their Lord morning and evening, seeking His magnificence. Do not turn your eyes away from them, seeking the splendours of this world, and do not follow him whose heart We have made oblivious to Our remembrance, who follows his own lust and exceeds the bound.

O David, We have made you trustee on the earth. So judge between men equitably, and do not follow your lust lest it should lead you astray from the way of God. Surely for those who go astray from the way of God, is severe punishment, for having forgotten the Day of Reckoning.

Then it was that the lust of the chase would suddenly come upon him, and that his brilliant reasoning power would rise to the level of intuition, until those who were unacquainted with his methods would look askance at him as on a man whose knowledge was not that of other mortals.

Restrain thyself along with those who cry unto their Lord at morn and evening, seeking His Countenance and let not thine eyes overlook them, desiring the pomp of the life of the world and obey not him whose heart We have made heedless of Our remembrance, who followeth his own lust and whose case hath been abandoned.

And be patient with those who call to their Lord in the morning and evening, desiring His Face. And do not turn your eyes away from them desiring the good things of this life, nor obey he whose heart We have made neglectful of Our remembrance so that he follows his own lust, and his affair has become excessive.

And restrain thyself with those who call upon their Lord at morning and evening, desiring His countenance, and let not thine eyes turn away from them, desiring the adornment of the present life and obey not him whose heart We have made neglectful of Our remembrance so that he follows his own lust, and his affair has become all excess.

And endure thy self in the company of those who call upon their Lord in the morning and evening seeking His and let not thine eyes countenance rove from them seeking the adornment of the life of this world, and obey thou not him whose heart We have made to neglect Our remembrance, and who followeth his lust, and whose affair is exceeding the bound.
