They await but a single blast which will not be repeated.

Say thou Await ye! I too will wait along with you!

I will look to the East and await your safe return.

Say Can ye await for us aught save one of two good things (death or victory in Allah's way)? while we await for you that Allah will afflict you with a doom from Him or at our hands. Await then! Lo! We are awaiting with you.

Say Do you await for us but one of two most excellent things? And we await for you that Allah will afflict you with punishment from Himself or by our hands. So wait we too will wait with you.

Stay in your houses and await instructions. I repeat

And these disbelievers await not but one blast of the Horn for it there will be no delay.

And indeed we, with our wings spread, await the command.

Or do they say A Poet! we await for him some calamity (hatched) by Time!

He is only a man in whom is madness wherefore await for him for a season.

So withdraw from them (O Muhammad), and await (the event). Lo! they (also) are awaiting (it).
