By a Decree inscribed

I hereby decree that

Has Your Majesty approved the decree?

I need to escape from this decree.

Have you deliver'd to her our decree?

on that night every wise decree is specified

A decree from Us. We have been sending messages.

We sent it down on the Night of Decree.

They said, Never will we prefer you over what has come to us of clear proofs and over He who created us. So decree whatever you are to decree. You can only decree for this worldly life.

The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.

Wait (for God's decree) and they too will be waiting.

You can't possibly imagine what that decree did to us.

They said We prefer you not over the clear signs that have come to us, and to Him (Allah) Who created us. So decree whatever you desire to decree, for you can only decree (regarding) this life of the world.

Indeed, We sent the Qur'an down during the Night of Decree.

The fact that this decree is in Babylonian says one thing.

They said Never shall we regard thee as more than the Clear Signs that have come to us, or than Him Who created us! so decree whatever thou desirest to decree for thou canst only decree (touching) the life of this world.

And every dwelling that We destroyed, had a known decree for it.

Never a city have We destroyed, but it had a known decree,

But what will convey to you what the Night of Decree is?

When We decree a thing, We only say 'Be' and it is.

And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?

They said we shall by no means prefer thee to that which hath come to us of the evidences, and to Him Who hath created us so decree thou whatsoever thou shalt decree thou canst only decree in respect of the life of this world.

Yet they say When will this decree come, if you speak the truth?

And We destroyed no township but there was a known decree for it.

Certainly Our decree has gone beforehand in favour of Our servants, the apostles,

He will issue His decree about your differences on the Day of Judgment.

We have never destroyed a township without a definite decree having been issued

Yesterday, I proposed a decree for war against Liu Bei and Sun Quan

With Me, the decree does not change, and nor do I oppress the bondmen.

And We have not destroyed a town but there was therefor a decree known.

And what will make you know what the night of Al Qadr (Decree) is?

Surely most of them merit the decree of chastisement so they do not believe.

The Shura Council that's appointed by the king, by royal decree of King Abdullah,

And never did We destroy a township but there was a known decree for it.

Verily! We have sent it (this Quran) down in the night of Al Qadr (Decree)

And We did not destroy any city but that for it was a known decree.

Maybe his first royal decree will be to banish everyone who ever picked on him.

The decree from Me will not be changed, and I am not unjust to the servants.

Each of them gave the lie to Messengers and My decree of chastisement came upon them.

The sun runs to its fixed restingplace that is the decree of the Almighty, the Knower.

We communicated to him Our decree that the guilty ones would be destroyed by the morning.

No fault shall be attached to the Prophet for doing what Allah has obligated for him. Such was the way of Allah with those who passed away before the decree of Allah is a decree determined

And We communicated to him the decree that by the morning those people will be totally destroyed.

But they rebelled against their Lord's decree, and so the thunderbolt overtook them even while they gazed

The decree of your Lord that the evil doers will not have faith has already been issued.
