Turn around, befriend him. Yes. (screams)

O you who have faith! Do not befriend your fathers and brothers if they prefer faithlessness to faith. Those of you who befriend them it is they who are the wrongdoers.

His authority is only over those who befriend him and those who associate others with Him.

Thus We make some of the wrongdoers befriend one another, because of what they used to do.

Those who leave the Muslims to befriend the disbelievers do they seek honour from them? Then (know that) undoubtedly all honour is for Allah.

Have you not seen those who befriend a people with whom Allah is wroth? They are neither of you nor of them, and they swear falsely while they know.

O ye who believe! befriend not a people against whom Allah is Wroth. Surely they have despaired of tHe Hereafter even as have despaired the entombed of the infidels. S

The retribution of a harmful deed is the harm equal to it so whoever forgives and makes amends, so his reward is upon Allah indeed He does not befriend the unjust.

O you who believe! Do not befriend people with whom God has become angry, and have despaired of the Hereafter, as the faithless have despaired of the occupants of the graves.

Do not lean towards the wicked, or you will be caught in the flames of Hell, and have none to befriend you other than God, nor will you be given help.

The Muslims must not befriend the disbelievers, in preference over the Muslims whoever does that has no connection whatsoever with Allah, except if you fear them Allah warns you of His wrath and towards Allah only is the return.

O you who believe! Do not befriend those who take your religion in mockery and as a sport, be they from among those who were given the Scripture before you, or the disbelievers. And obey God, if you are believers.

O People who Believe! Those who have made your religion a mockery and a sport, and those who received the Book before you, and the disbelievers do not befriend any of them and keep fearing Allah, if you have faith.

Allah forbids you only from those who fought against you because of religion or drove you out from your homes or helped others to drive you out, that you should befriend them and whoever befriends them it is they who are the unjust.

O you who believe! Do not befriend outsiders who never cease to wish you harm. They love to see you suffer. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, but what their hearts conceal is worse. We have made the messages clear for you, if you understand.

Those who believe, men and women, befriend one another, and enjoin what is right and prohibit what is wrong. They observe their devotional obligations, pay the zakat, and obey God and His Apostle. God will be merciful to them, for God is all mighty and all wise.

They would love to see you disbelieve, just as they disbelieve, so you would become equal. So do not befriend any of them, unless they emigrate in the way of God. If they turn away, seize them and execute them wherever you may find them and do not take from among them allies or supporters.

If you have been struck by some misfortune, so they (the disbelievers) too have been struck earlier with the same misfortune these are the days in which We have allotted turns to people and so that Allah may make known the believers and may bestow martyrdom to some of you and Allah does not befriend the unjust.

They wish that you too should turn disbelievers the way they did, so that you all may become equal so do not befriend any of them until they forsake their homes and families in Allah s cause then if they turn back, seize them and kill them wherever you find them and do not take any of them as a friend nor as a supporter.
