They said, We consider you an evil omen, and your companions he said, Your evil omen is with Allah in fact you people have fallen into trial.

They said, We consider you an ill omen, and those with you. He said, Your omen is with God. In fact, you are a people being tested.

They said, We consider you a bad omen, you and those with you. He said, Your omen is with Allah. Rather, you are a people being tested.

I always thought that suffering a heart attack was an omen of death.

They said We augur ill omen from you and those with you. He said Your ill omen is with Allah nay, but you are a people that are being tested.

They said Ill omen do we augur from thee and those that are with thee . He said Your ill omen is with Allah yea, ye are a people under trial.

They said, We see you and your followers as an evil omen. He replied, No, your evil omen is with God the truth is that you are a people being put to the test.

We let loose against them a violent roaring wind on a day of ill omen, continuous,

They said, Your omen is with yourselves. Is it because you were reminded? Rather, you are a transgressing people.

(The messengers) said The augury is within your own selves. Do you (consider it a bad omen) that you should be warned? You are a people guilty of excess.

They (people) said For us, we see an evil omen from you, if you cease not, we will surely stone you, and a painful torment will touch you from us.

We have fastened every man's omen to his neck. On the Day of Resurrection We shall produce for him his scroll in the shape of a wide open book, (saying)

but they answered, We see an evil omen in you. If you do not stop, we shall certainly stone you, and you will suffer a painful punishment at our hands.

They said, We take you and those who are with you for a bad omen. He said, Your bad omens are from Allah. Indeed, you are a people being tested.

They said, Indeed, we consider you a bad omen. If you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and there will surely touch you, from us, a painful punishment.

We have attached every person s omen to his neck, and We shall bring it out for him on the Day of Resurrection as a book that he will find wide open.

The people of the town said We believe you are an evil omen for us. If you do not desist, we will stone you or you will receive a grievous chastisement from us.

The Messengers replied Your evil omen is with you. (Are you saying this) because you were asked to take heed? The truth is that you are a people who have exceeded all bounds.

The (people) said for us, we augur an evil omen from you if ye desist not, we will certainly stone you. And a grievous punishment indeed will be inflicted on you by us.

And every man We have fastened to him his bird of omen upon his neck and We shall bring forth for him, on the Day of Resurrection, a book he shall find spread wide open.

They (Messengers) said Your evil omens be with you! (Do you call it evil omen ) because you are admonished? Nay, but you are a people Musrifun (transgressing all bounds by committing all kinds of great sins, and by disobeying Allah).

But when good came to them, they said, This is ours by right . And if a bad condition struck them, they saw an evil omen in Moses and those with him. Unquestionably, their fortune is with Allah, but most of them do not know.

So We sent upon them furious wind in days of evil omen (for them) that We might give them a taste of disgracing torment in this present worldly life, but surely the torment of the Hereafter will be more disgracing, and they will never be helped.
